So it seems that when I sent out the Captain Slinky Presents Oddmall Emporium of The Weird “SPRUNG” Vendor’s Packet via email, it got caught in A LOT of people’s SPAM FOLDERS! So if you’ve got a space in Monroe this weekend and you HAVEN’T received your Vendor Packet, CLICK HERE TO VIEW THE ENTIRE THING ONLINE and we’re sorry for the technical difficulty! And if you’re looking for the regular old SPRUNG Page, just go to Oddmall.co/SPRUNG for all that! That’s about it for now, we have to go set up an ODDMALL! See you this weekend!
Well folks, this is it! I came in *just shy* of a hundred different vendors, artists, game-makers, small local businesses, food trucks, entertainers, Sasquatches (Sasqui?) and other fun… But I won’t tell anybody if YOU don’t. It’ll be our little secret 😉
Not sure what else to say? If you want to see a map of the event, a list of the vendors, details of our “Mask Up And Win” Door Prize policy and everything else, just head on over to the main SPRUNG Website, and I’ll see you there!
Your Pal, Captain Slinky

Now accepting vendor applications for the big springtime Captain Slinky Presents Oddmall Emporium of The Weird “SPRUNG!” show! The weekend of April 30th – May 1st at the Evergreen State Fairgrounds Building 600 – The Don Britton Livestock Pavilion – in Monroe, Washington! Same place as where we did our big Creepsmas show!
You can click here and apply to become one of our happy family of vendors for this show, or click on the picture above! The map of the building has been completely revamped, measured and we are now POSITIVE that we’ve got it right! Pricing now reflects input from MANY previous vendors who said we should be charging more for corners, walls, electricity… so of course we reduced the prices of the spaces that DON’T have a wall or electricity or a corner as well, because I myself am a vendor and would HATE if any show I was vending at just raised all the prices across the board.
More info coming soon, but right now all you need to know is this:

Be assured the positive feedback we have received regarding the proof of vaccine requirements FAR OUTWEIGH the negative comments on Facebook. I’ve put up 200 signs – I’ve talked to a LOT of people. I’ve posted in many local groups, people are EXCITED to come to Oddmall!!!
There are several digital options for if you don’t want to carry your V-card around with you, our personal favorite is http://www.myirmobile.com – You’ll have a digital PDF of your Vaccination Certificate in under 5 minutes!

One week from today (as I am writing this), vendors from across the great Pacific North West will be making their way to the Evergreen State Fairgrounds in Monroe, Washington, to set up their booths and be ready for the crowds of rabid, spend-thirsty customers that will descend upon our humble little Oddmall.
It’s the first new Oddmall of the decade, the first new Oddmall under new management, and the first Oddmall of the Pandemic. I’ll admit it, I’m nervous! Did I do enough promoting of the event? Did I do too much? Will people show up? WHat if the weather is terrible? Let me go check the Weather App real quick… BAH! We live in WESTERN WASHINGTON! Everything further out than 3 days from now is ALWAYS “MId to low 60’s with a chance of rain” – YOU ARE NO HELP, WEATHER APP!
Okay, well… guess there’s nothing to do but worry? If anybody needs me, I’ll be over here next to my anxiety, breathing deeply into this paper sack. Because everything’s going to be just fine!
This is David, the founder of Oddmall Emporium of the Weird in the PNW in 2013. My Brother Andy Hopp founded Oddmall in Akron, Ohio in 2009 and has produced over 40 Oddmall shows in Ohio. I want to give everyone an update on our future plans. I have stepped back from show production and I am now focusing on expanding the Oddmall Emporium of the Weird footprint to other areas of the state and eventually other states thru-out the United States by finding awesome people with an interest in event production to run shows under the Oddmall Emporium of the Weird banner.
You may have noticed that our upcoming show November 13 & 14, 2021 is being promoted as Captain Slinky presents: Oddmall the Emporium of the Weird! Captain Slinky who will be taking over and running shows going forward in what we are calling Region 1 of Washington State. Captain Slinky (aka Brian Pierce) has been vending at Oddmall since 2014 and is most known for his Weird Lamps. Brian will be running several shows a year going forward (a new show announcement will be forthcoming in November after he gets the first show under his belt.) in Region 1 which covers the areas of Everett North to Canada and the City of Renton. Look for more announcements for this region in the new year.
I would also like to announce that Esther Chillicut will be the show producer for Region 2 which encompasses Bremerton and surrounding areas, areas surrounding Tacoma (Puyallup, Auburn, Spanaway) and the Olympic Peninsula. Esther has been a big part of Oddmall from the start in 2013 and has helped me with so many things during shows I can’t even count them all. Esther has been a huge part of making Oddmall successful and she has many ideas to make Oddmall an even more amazing experience for all such as celebrity guests, 3 day shows that include panels and workshops and more! Esther hopes to have her first show this coming February. Stay Tuned!
We are actively seeking show runners for Regions 3, 4,& 5 of Washington. These regions occupy the following areas.
Region 3 – Seattle, West Seattle, Bellevue, Lynnwood Issaquah, Hwy 2 from Gold Bar to Wenatchee, and I-90 East to Ellensburg
Region 4 – I-90 after Wenatchee, Tri Cities, Walla Walla, Yakima, and Spokane south to the Oregon border
Region 5 – South West Washington that includes Centralia, Chehalis, Vancouver and surrounding areas.
If you are interested in more information about hosting an Oddmall Emporium of the Weird in your region, please contact me at Oddmallseattle@gmail.com
The future looks bright!
