One week from today (as I am writing this), vendors from across the great Pacific North West will be making their way to the Evergreen State Fairgrounds in Monroe, Washington, to set up their booths and be ready for the crowds of rabid, spend-thirsty customers that will descend upon our humble little Oddmall.
It’s the first new Oddmall of the decade, the first new Oddmall under new management, and the first Oddmall of the Pandemic. I’ll admit it, I’m nervous! Did I do enough promoting of the event? Did I do too much? Will people show up? WHat if the weather is terrible? Let me go check the Weather App real quick… BAH! We live in WESTERN WASHINGTON! Everything further out than 3 days from now is ALWAYS “MId to low 60’s with a chance of rain” – YOU ARE NO HELP, WEATHER APP!
Okay, well… guess there’s nothing to do but worry? If anybody needs me, I’ll be over here next to my anxiety, breathing deeply into this paper sack. Because everything’s going to be just fine!
