We’re opening up applications for this show early this year because there’s a lot of great options out there that exact same weekend, and as a vendor I know it’s going to be really hard for you to decide which one is best for you! It’s tough!

Grit City Comic Show in Tacoma is just the one day, Saturday November 9th. Spaces for that show range from $110 to $230 for the day. Attendance is just $10! They’ve got comics professionals, cosplayers, gaming, a great-big Lego display… it’s awesome!

Geek Girl Con at the Convention Center in Seattle is the whole weekend (11/9-11-10) and is truly “Next Level” as far as conventions go, a great family show that’s also educational! It costs a non-refundable $10 to apply, and spaces are $300-$450 each. Attendance costs $35 to $200 per adult, lots of ad-ons available.

…And just for comparison, Captain Slinky Presents Oddmall Emporium of The Weird CREEPSMAS 4 Art, Craft & Gift Show in Monroe is all weekend as well, attendance is free and parking is free! Vendor spaces cost between $115-$285 (we rolled back our prices because things are tough all over, right?), food trucks, jugglers, free pics with Krampus, over 100 door prizes, Second-Chance Costume Contest, food trucks…

So really, choose the show that’s best for you!

So what is it? “SPRUNG!” is a gathering of over 170 different local artists, performers, writers and other weird-o’s that hate seasonal allergies and outdoor activities in the sun just as much as you do! Why waste a perfectly good Springtime Weekend fighting off attacks from pollen, sunshine, bugs and whatever else Spring is trying to kill us with when you could come to Oddmall for FREE and see some REALLY WEIRD SHHhhhhhhhhtuff. Stuff. Weird STUFF! It’s a PG-13 show, so it’s STUFF!

Oddmall has everything you could ever want for a delightful indoor weekend – dolls made out of animal bones, Star Trek potholders, hand-blown glass mushrooms, local game designers, food trucks, jugglers, Yo-Yo Masters, over a hundred Door Prizes, and the chance to FIGHT A MAN IN A WHEELCHAIR FOR A PRIZE!!!

It’s impossible to give an accurate description of what you’ll find at any given Oddmall, other than the stated theme – and THIS Oddmall, our “Sprung” show, is all about Tabletop Games. Come play a game! It’s FREE! Free admission, free parking, free prizes, free FUN!

Thank you, everyone, for making yet another Captain Slinky Presents Oddmall Emporium of The Weird CREEPSMAS event a great success! We had a lot of competition out there, everything from the Grit City Comic Show to the Camano Island Miniature Wargame Show, but the crowds came! Not as many as in previous years, which was to be expected – rainy weekend, other big events going on, and everyone’s favorite catch-all excuse THE ECONOMY! Our sophisticated crowd-tabulating algorithm shows that we had an estimated crown of nearly 4,000 people through the doors over the course of the weekend – a few more than we had at “Sprung 2” last May, but not as many as our past two “Creepsmas” shows. We have now leveled-off to Pre-Pandemic Attendance Levels, sooooo… yay?

And hey, how did we all love the new Krampus set-up??? Mr. Snow Jangles and crew really know how to bring the show! And best of all, no having to wait for a silly download link for your free pics – just use the $1,000 professional photography studio in your pocket (the one you check your email on) and BOOM! Instant, perfect pictures that can be shared INSTANTLY!

We had 60 entries for our first ever “Your Cool Halloween Costume Totally Should Have Won A Prize” After-Halloween Costume Contest, and we look forward to making it a Creepsmas tradition! It was so much fun to see Murder Clowns frolicking with Super Heroes!
