For *five seasons* on the SyFy Channel, Doc and The Gang traipsed all over the greater PNW killing zombies, eating Blueberry Pies and running from a Giant Zombie Cheese Wheel. It was like The Walking Dead, only instead of being depressing they decided to just be GOOD and FUN. One of my Top Three Most Recommended TV Series of All Time (right behind Firefly and Community).
But why is an ACTOR coming to a show with a title like “Captain Slinky Presents Oddmall Emporium of The Weird CREEPSMAS 2 Art, Craft & Gift Show”. Because, folks… Russell is ONE OF US! He makes and sells some absolutely BEAUTIFUL modified Undead Barbies that he calls his “ZomBabes”! I approved him as a vendor before I even realized he was DOC!

The map for the Captain Slinky Presents Oddmall Emporium of The Weird “Creepsmas 2” Art, Craft & Gift show has been updated! The show isn’t till November 12-13 at the Evergreen State Fairgrounds in Monroe, WA and we’ve got less than 30 spaces (out of 95) left – and we haven’t even done any advertising! It’s all been positive word-of-mouth from our family of happy vendors and even happier customers! It gets me all verklempt just thinking about it! Thank you all for your faith, trust and love!

It’s free to submit an application to our esteemed panel of judges, you won’t be charged till after you’ve been approved (the flip-side of that coin, though, is that you’re not guaranteed a spot untill you’ve paid in full), so why not?

The Don Britton Livestock Pavillion is on the East Side of the Evergreen State Fairgrounds, so the easiest and most direct access is to turn on to Cascade View Drive – if you’re using a GPS Map Thingee to get here, just put in that you want to go to the Western Heritage Center in Monroe, it’ll take you right there. But really, just follow the Oddmall signs and you’ll be good to go!
Free parking, free admission, door prizes, over 100 vendors, jugglers, Krampus, Food Trucks, weird stuff, oddities galore, and really what else were you gonna do this weekend? GET IN HERE! We look forward to seeing you!

That’s right – WE NOW HAVE AN OFFICIAL TITLE! I know a lot of you loved the “Black Friday Only It’s Saturday & Sunday And It’s Two Weeks Before Thanksgiving Instead of The Friday After Thanksgiving But Okay Y’know What Forget It We Didn’t Think This Title Through” title, but there’s a National Vowel Shortage going on right now and I just couldn’t justify wasting so many vowels on a silly title for our show at a time like this. Maybe back in the 80’s, when you had so many vowels across this great nation of ours you could name your rock band “Kaja Goo Goo”, but in today’s economy? FORGET ABOUT IT!
So WELCOME to MERRY CREEPSMAS! It’s that magical time between Halloween and Christmas, when you can’t decide between Pumpkin Spice and Peppermint Mocha! When you go outside to hang up lights and notice that your Jack-O-Lantern still needs to be tossed in the yard waste bin! When you look at all the Halloween Clearance Stuff and think “Y’know, Uncle Randy would probably REALLY like that Skull-Shaped Candle Holder for Christmas”! When you start realizing that Thanksgiving is just a SPEEDBUMP between the TWO BEST TIMES OF THE YEAR!!!
